This Atlanta black and white metal print features the sweeping modern architecture of the High Museum on Peachtree Street. Although the history of the High dates back to the early 1900’s, the current building was completed in the early 1980’s and stands out for its super modern lines. Long before I called Atlanta home, I had visited the High Museum on school trips. And I marveled then and now at the beautiful lines of the building. And of course, the artwork inside.

I don’t personally do a lot of work in black and white, but I particularly love black and white prints when the subject is architecture because I feel we often pay more attention to the design of a building when it’s stripped of its color. Most times, of course. Sometimes color is part of the design. But for this High Museum print, I’d say black and white is truly striking.
