Egypt was one of those dream trips that I had always believed, for some reason, would happen late in life. Perhaps it was because one of my earlier memories in childhood was hearing about an elderly great uncle and aunt’s trip to Egypt? Egypt seemed somehow out of reach, like a faraway dream. Even today I am not sure how I suddenly put all the pieces together for two weeks roaming the amazing landscapes and antiquities that Egypt has to offer!
And I am not sure I could have done Egypt quite as rough as I did it at later point in my life. Even now just a few years down the road, I hate to admit that camping on the banks of the Nile sounds a bit much. Although if I were magically back there again, I would have it no other way. I felt like I really connected with Egypt and its people. I went for the Egyptian antiquities and those did not disappoint, but I left with a deeper appreciation for the wider variety of the Egyptian experience and the amazing beauty of the lands there.
When I went to Egypt, I truly believed it was a once in a lifetime experience. I think I was more open to the experiences I had there on a deeper level because I truly believed I would never get the chance to return. Years down the line whenever I look at my Egypt art prints, I can’t help believing I will see Egypt again some day. And the artwork those short weeks there inspired has connected with so many others who love Egypt in a way I never would have predicted. Certainly I didn’t imagine the number of people who would connect with me because of that trip to Egypt when I was gazing at the pyramids, standing on the desert or roaming the landscapes of the Sinai. It was an experience that enriched my life when I was there and has reverberated down as people have since then purchased my Egypt prints as well as shared with me their own Egyptian adventures.
Thanks to my past Egypt print patrons as well as the future ones! That a little piece of my Egyptian experience graces your walls is a gift you may not be able to imagine!

At the end of the day, it’s important to me that you can put a face with the art you’re considering purchasing through my site. Aside from the print vendor who ultimately prints and ships your order, this is a one man show. The person who made the art is the same one who is typing this message and the one who will answer your questions if you drop me a note.
You are not a number and I care that you are happy with whatever art you might buy here. I’m here if you’d like to ask questions before or after purchasing. And I’m also happy to work with you where possible to customize the work you’re buying. Maybe you’d like a tweak to the shape of a print to fit in with your existing wall art. Or you’d like to add a little nod to someone special in it? Just ask! I also keep a running list of subjects I don’t currently have but people are seeking. So if you enjoy the style of my work but didn’t find quite what you were looking for, please do let me know.
I’ve been an artist for 15 years now and most of that time it’s been my full-time passion. And it matters to both the endorphins in my brain and the food I put on the table for me (and my cats) that you find the experience of purchasing the products offered here to be a pleasure.
