This classic car greeting card features the very distinctive tail fin of a 1957 Chevy. When it comes to classic cars, there’s no question that a 57 Chevy is something of a holy grail. Those dramatic tail fins are absolutely a part of Americana. Those fins speak of the jet age and the boundless optimism of 1950’s America.
And for me, there was a personal reason to tackle a 57 Chevy. My grandfather owned one. Granted, I never saw it. In fact, he had passed away before I was born, but that car was fondly remembered and spoken of by my Mom for years to come. As a rural mail carrier, he actually traded cars every two years. So the fact his 1957 Chevy was well remembered among the many cars he had shows how special it was.
The fact he owned was is the limit of the homage. He owned a four door and the color was not blue. But this artwork was more about the mood and the times than anything else. I feel like this scene outside a diner at night speaks to Fifties Americana, don’t you? Assuming you’re of a certain age does it take you back? Or if, like me, you’re younger does it fit what you know of the era? I hope you’ll share your thoughts.

Greeting cards are 5″ x 7″ in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Each card comes with a white envelope.
These greeting cards may be ordered as a single card or in packs of 10 or 25 cards.
