About This Image

1970 Chevelle SS – Classic Car Metal Print by Mark Tisdale.

This classic car metal print features the 1970 Chevelle SS in blue. The Super Sport was produced between 1964 and 1977, but the 1970 Chevelle is seen by many as something of a high water mark for the first generation of American muscle cars.

Even if you’re not an avid auto enthusiast, the 1970 Chevelle is a classic Chevy that still appears in motion pictures such as The Fast and the Furious and Jack Reacher. Never mind many appearances in the decades of films before that. The ’70 Chevelle Super Sport is an enduring icon of the muscle car era.

As I’ve mentioned before, my attraction to classic cars is the design and style of them more than what makes them go vroom. And I definitely rely on people pointing out good subjects to me. My knowledge of classic cars is not encyclopedic. So when I had multiple followers of my work ask if I had done anything for the 1970 Chevelle, I had to look it up. I recognized the car as soon as I saw it and added it to my list of requests. I knew it not only deserved to be done, it would be a fun subject for an automotive metal print.

I hope you’ll stop to share your memories of this classic Chevy. What brought you here? Are you looking for a gift for a friend who loves classic muscle cars? Or maybe you have or had a ’70 Chevelle yourself and want a classic car metal print for your home or office?

How Can I Help?

At the end of the day, it’s important to me that you can put a face with the art you’re considering purchasing through my site. Aside from the print vendor who ultimately prints and ships your order, this is a one man show. The person who made the art is the same one who is typing this message and the one who will answer your questions if you drop me a note.

You are not a number and I care that you are happy with whatever art you might buy here. I’m here if you’d like to ask questions before or after purchasing. And I’m also happy to work with you where possible to customize the work you’re buying. Maybe you’d like a tweak to the shape of a print to fit in with your existing wall art. Or you’d like to add a little nod to someone special in it? Just ask! I also keep a running list of subjects I don’t currently have but people are seeking. So if you enjoy the style of my work but didn’t find quite what you were looking for, please do let me know.

I’ve been an artist for 15 years now and most of that time it’s been my full-time passion. And it matters to both the endorphins in my brain and the food I put on the table for me (and my cats) that you find the experience of purchasing the products offered here to be a pleasure.
