This ballet dancer canvas print features the arabesque movement or position. The arabesque is a classic movement or position in ballet and can take some slightly different forms. This artwork was a request from a customer but one that I completely enjoyed tackling. Although I lack any sort of coordination worth mentioning I admire the grace of ballet dancers. It clearly takes much practice and perhaps some innate grace as well. I also admit that I can’t put names it steps and movements but once I saw this move illustrated I knew I had seen this position many times before. Definitely a classic!
