This Fan Pier skyline view greeting card features a mesmerizing night scene of a Boston Rain. You can almost hear the rain coming down on the pier around the couple in the foreground can’t you? I love doing night scenes in general but I particularly adore depicting a falling rain at night. There’s just something magical about it for me. I think partially it may be because an actual rain energizes me. Hence looking at the image on this rainy greeting card gives me the same psychological feeling.

Fan Pier is an historical part of Boston like much of the harbor area. And also like much of the area, it’s been redeveloped in recent years. Once an industrial area and part of Boston’s history as a port city, it has become a live work area cluster of skyscrapers with a great view of the city proper. On my visits to Boston I have always ended up by the water, which I suspect is par for the course.

What attracts you to the image on this scenic Boston rain card? Is it the romantic vibe from the couple walking close under their umbrella? Or is it the golden skyline against the dark blue stormy skies? Or something else altogether?

Greeting Cards – Product Information

Greeting cards are 5″ x 7″ in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Each card comes with a white envelope.

These greeting cards may be ordered as a single card or in packs of 10 or 25 cards.
