About This Image
Carnegie Library – Montezuma Georgia Canvas Print by Mark Tisdale.
This Montezuma, Georgia canvas print features the old Carnegie Library. Built in 1906 in the Neoclassical style it was designed by architect T. Firth Lockwood, Jr. There are quite a few beautiful old buildings like this scattered around Alabama and Georgia that were designed by members of the Lockwood family.
Montezuma’s Carnegie Library is no longer in use as a library but remains a vital part of the community housing the Macon County Chamber of Commerce and the local historical society. Whenever I look at this print of our old library my mind goes back to the tall stacks of books and our treasured librarian, Mrs. Violet Moore. I have never known a more welcoming library. So there was a lot of love in creating this scene featuring our little community landmark.
Canvas Print – Product Information
Stretched canvas prints are a timeless way to enhance your home or office decor. Whether your style is traditional or modern, canvas art offers a versatile and sophisticated look that complements any space.
Each canvas print is custom-made to order, printed on an acid-free poly/cotton blend canvas using archival inks. This ensures your artwork will last a lifetime, retaining its vibrant colors without fading or losing detail.
When placing your order, you’ll have the option to choose between glossy or matte finishes. The glossy finish adds a subtle sheen, making colors appear more vivid, while the matte finish offers a softer look with reduced glare, making it ideal for brightly lit spaces. Let the natural light in your room guide your choice.
You can also select from three wrap styles for your canvas print:
- Mirrored wrap: The image extends around the sides of the canvas, preserving the integrity of the original artwork. This is the most popular and versatile option.
- Black wrap: A solid black color on the sides of the canvas.
- White wrap: A clean white color on the sides of the canvas.
A preview of each wrap style is available for you to view when selecting your option.
Once printed, your canvas is carefully stretched over a sturdy wooden frame made of 1.5″ x 1.5″ stretcher bars. The entire production process takes 5 to 7 business days. Your canvas print will be shipped in secure packaging with a hanging wire attached and all necessary hardware included, making it a convenient, ready-to-hang artwork.
