Corvette Stingray C3 – Classic Car Metal Print by Mark Tisdale

The subject of this classic car metal print is a brilliant blue Corvette Stingray C3 (Third Generation). This was a fun subject to tackle because although no one in my immediate circle had one, this was sort of “the car” of my childhood. This was synonymous was the words “sports car” in my mind. And it’s a car design that, in my opinion, holds up remarkably well. And if you’re here checking out this Corvette metal print, odds are you feel the same way.

I believe the model this artwork was based on was circa the very late 60’s or early 1970’s, but if you are more certain of the year, please let me know!

This blue Corvette stingray is shown on a wash of bright blue and red. There’s a real feeling of the dynamic lines of the car. it feels as if we’ve spotted it in the midst of action. This is a fun print if you’re a fan of American Sports cars in general or if you have a particular fondness for this model of the Corvette Stingray.
