This Nova Scotia greeting card features the landmark Peggys Cove Lighthouse. Officially the name is Peggys Point Lighthouse but it’s name has become associated with the nearby village and cove. Built in 1914 to replace an earlier lighthouse, Peggys Cove lighthouse marks the eastern entrance to St. Margarets Bay. It has become one of the most recognizable lighthouses in the world. There’s a decent chance that even if you haven’t heard of it by name you will recognize this beautiful Canadian lighthouse.
This subject was suggested to me and it’s always a bit of a challenge to tackle a well known landmark considering it’s probably been painted and photographed a million ways from Sunday. Is my take unique? I don’t know but I think as with all art it become subjective. So I’ll ask what brought you here and attracts you to the image on this Peggys Cove lighthouse greeting card? These 5″ x 7″ greeting cards are printed on premium 100 lb. paper stock for a high-quality, sturdy feel. The exterior features a semi-gloss finish, thanks to a UV protectant coating that enhances the colors. The inside of the card has a smooth, matte white finish, perfect for writing your own message.
You can order the cards plain or with a custom printed message of up to 500 characters. Each card comes with a white envelope, ready for mailing or gift giving. Cards are available for purchase individually or in packs of 10 or 25.
