When I first moved to Atlanta in the late ’90s, The Pinnacle was a building that immediately caught my eye as well as my imagination. I didn’t realize it at the time, but it was still a fresh addition to Buckhead’s skyline, yet a great representation of the area’s growth and modernity. Living nearby, I often admired its sweeping design and the way it stood out coming down Peachtree Street. Even now, as the skyline around it continues to evolve, The Pinnacle remains a standout symbol of Buckhead’s dynamic and forward-looking character.

The image on this metal print captures the vibrant energy of Buckhead’s streets, with cars in motion and the unmistakable rhythm of a thriving urban area. Once known for its bustling nightlife, Buckhead has since evolved into a major residential and business hub, blending cutting-edge development with a constantly changing cityscape. It may seem silly but it took me quite some time to realize there was no part of the roof that actually moved. This sense of motion, paired with its clean lines and glass facade, gives The Pinnacle an strong sense of elegance and energy.

This image was taken during one of my final walks through Atlanta before leaving to pursue my dreams as a full-time artist. I felt it was only fitting to revisit this building, one of my earliest inspirations, on that journey. For me, The Pinnacle represents not only the progress and growth of Atlanta but also my own personal milestones and connection to the city.
