Shamrock – Irish Flag Collage 5×7 Greeting Card by Mark Tisdale.

This Irish flag collage greeting card features a very prominent Shamrock. Of course, the Shamrock is quite an ancient and well-known symbol of Ireland. Part of the lore of the Shamrock is that St. Patrick himself used the three leaves of the Shamrock to explain the holy trinity. In more recent times the lucky four leaf clover has also gotten linked with Ireland but the three leaves of the Shamrock is the real deal.

The backdrop to this green shamrock is a collage that includes a vintage map of Ireland, classic sheet music and poetry that connects with Ireland as well as the green, white and orange of the Irish flag. The colors of the Irish flag are symbolic as well. Green represent Irish nationalism, orange represent the Protestant minority and white is for lasting peace between them.

I consider this artwork to be something of a love letter to Ireland. Like many I have some roots there but most of all I love the time I’ve spent in that beautiful land. I’d love to hear what the image on this Shamrock greeting card says to you? What attracted you to this artwork?

Greeting cards are 5″ x 7″ in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Each card comes with a white envelope.

These greeting cards may be ordered as a single card or in packs of 10 or 25 cards.
