A famous Winston Churchill quote is the subject of this “Never Surrender” metal print. In fact, the original scene without this quote has been popular in its own right. The pairing of the iconic figure of Winston Churchill and the Parliament clock tower AKA “Big Ben” is a powerful one. It has resonated with many customers over the years. After all it pairs one of the leading figures of British 20th century history with a building recognized the world over.
But a frequent request from some customers was that they wanted the Never Surrender quote included in the artwork. I have always considered that the unofficial title of the work. The request happened often enough I decided to just offer it both ways. And I will admit that large plinth the statue sits on is a natural place to put his iconic “Never surrender” quote from World War II.
