Art Deco Architecture Prints

Art Deco architecture prints featuring a collection of artwork highlighting the Art Deco style. Art Deco was popular in the 1920’s through the 1940’s. It’s a highly stylized design style that took some cues from the crafts movement often mixed with the metals of the machine age. Art Deco tends to be a mixture of strong lines and slick curves. And personally it’s one of my favorite styles as I hope this collection of wall art illustrates.

  • Art Deco Style Meets Colorful Mexico - Oaxaca Print by Mark Tisdale

Art Deco Style Meets Mexican Color – Oaxaca

    $24.00

I’ve long had a soft spot for Art Deco style anything but particularly architecture. I’m not sure what started me on that path as there’s precious little of it to be found in the area where I grew up. Maybe that’s enough of a reason? Maybe it was the Art Deco style furniture I inherited…

  • Art Print of an Art Deco Theater in Mérida Mexico

Art Deco Theater Print – Streets of Mérida Mexico

    $24.00

I have a real soft spot for Art Deco Theaters. There is simply something in my mind which ties the golden age of movies with that particular architectural style. And it’s the era when going to the movies was an event and the theaters were ornate palaces for the people. So often these days when…

  • Majestic Diner - Atlanta Landmark Print by Mark Tisdale

The Majestic Diner – Atlanta Landmark Art

    $24.00

Even if you’ve never eaten at the Majestic Diner in Atlanta, there’s something about Art Deco architecture that’s likely to bring an unconscious smile to your face. And I think that’s particularly true about Streamline Moderne, of which the Majestic Diner is an example. The Majestic Diner has a sign that says it’s been serving…

  • Coolidge Corner in the Boston Brookline Neighborhood - Print By Mark Tisdale

Coolidge Corner – Night in Brookline – Boston Art

    $24.00

On my last trip to Boston, I decided to stay out in Brookline near the intersection of Harvard and Beacon Streets. It seemed like a great way to get a better taste of the local flavor just a little removed from downtown. It was the midst of winter as I wandered those cold New England…

  • Vintage Theater Marquee - Perry Georgia Print by Mark Tisdale

Rustic Vintage Theater Marquee – Perry Georgia Art

    $24.00

One of my favorite architectural styles is without a doubt art deco as seen in this vintage theater marquee print. Of course if you look through my print collections, you’ll see I also have a great fondness for capturing examples of vanishing Americana. The combination of the two in this old theater print from nearby…

  • Savannah Theatre Neon Sign Art Print by Georgia artist Mark Tisdale

Savannah Theatre In The Rain – Art Print

    $24.00

I have to admit that I did not know the full history of the Savannah Theatre when I started on this particular artwork. I simply loved the old art deco style and the big neon sign that proclaimed Savannah in large illuminated letters. But the history of the Savannah Theatre goes back far beyond this…

  • New York Chrysler Building on The Skyline At Night - Print by Mark Tisdale

New York Nights – Aerial View of The Chrysler Building

    $24.00

One disappointment from my evening on the top of Rockefeller Center was that the vantage point on the Chrysler Building was not what I considered optimal. Later in my trip, I would discover that the view of the Art Deco Chrysler Buidling from the Empire State Building was much better, providing a great view of…

  • La Samaritaine and the Pont Neuf - Paris France Print by Mark Tisdale

Pont Neuf View Of La Samaritaine – Paris Art

    $24.00

Considering I was only in Paris for five nights, I was incredibly lucky not just for the number of sunny days I had in the midst of winter but for the fantastic quality of that light. This photo is an example of just how powerful that light was. And of course, I’ve said many times…
