Salem Massachusetts Prints
These Salem Massachusetts prints were inspired by a very brief visit there years ago. Although there is tons to see and do in nearby Boston, I’m so glad I took a day trip out to see historic Salem. It was, to me, the quintessential picture of New England and packed with history to boot.
You’ll see this Salem Massachusetts print collection includes some buildings connected with Hawthorne as well as a beautiful recreation of a tall ship – The Friendship of Salem. The House of The Seven Gables was the primary reason for my visit but there was artistic inspiration on every street it seemed.
Although a very small collection of prints, these have been very popular. In particular the Friendship of Salem and House of Seven Gables prints have been popular across the years. Some of the buyers have said they are from Salem but others were, like me, tourists who wanted remembrances of a beautiful visit to historic Salem.
