This sunny Ireland art print features Dingle Town. In fact, Dingle is the only town on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. As you can see it’s a colorful and quaint village. And Dingle is definitely what I would call scenic. But what bowled me over about this little corner of Ireland was the sunshine. Not just that it was sunny but the vivid quality to the light. I was told that the Dingle Peninsula was a favorite place for artists to settle and I have no doubt. But every time I see a sunny view of Ireland I’m reminded of my first day in Ireland, a similarly sunny day in Dublin. I was too early to check in so to try to combat jetlag, I decided to take in a quick walking tour. The guide said something along the lines of “we have an extra special guest today in Ireland, The Sun!” Although to be honest, in my experience there were some gloriously sunny days in Ireland. Many gray and wet ones as well but when they sun made an appearance it was no holds barred just as you see in this Dingle Town art print.

I really loved Dingle and was tempted to hop off the bus and stay there. I hoped to get back but never did so beautiful Dingle Town remains the epitome of Irish villages for me.
