The subject of this British Christmas canvas print is a British red telephone box with Santa on a motorcycle. The title for this one is Father Christmas Has A New Ride and it reflects a modern take on Old Saint Nick. This was a fun Christmas themed artwork I did on request. It was a happy call to accept since it includes a red phone booth – a favorite Anglophile subject of mine. And it had never occurred to me before I did this how much Santa Claus and a red phone box have in common when it comes to the color that suits them best.
This has been a popular British Christmas themed canvas art print, I think because it’s so quirky combining classic themes with a different twist.
