The subject of this Montezuma, Georgia canvas print is the old Central of Georgia Depot. This beautiful local landmark was built in 1890 in the Queen Anne style of architecture. Across Georgia you’ll still find similar railroad depots. And of course in the past you’d have found even more. Our local depot is a survivor having been used for a period of time as the offices for the city police department but more recently as a museum for Macon County.

This canvas art shows the Central of Georgia Depot as it might have looked around the middle of the last century complete with a vintage passenger train at the platform.
