State of Georgia Art - Georgia Wall Decor

This collection of State of Georgia prints is important to me because Georgia is my home. In fact, I have spent all but a couple of years in college right here in the Peach state.

You’ll find Georgia wall art here that has been inspired both by places I’ve lived as well as ones I’ve visited. From the Georgia coast to the North Georgia mountains and southward where I grew up, there’s a little bit of it all here. I’m continually inspired by my home state and continuously adding new local art representing the places that make Georgia special to me and, I hope, you.

Many of these state of Georgia prints mark my journey as an artist. Although my love of visual art started during my early travels, it was here in my home state of Georgia that I learned I didn’t have to travel thousands of miles to capture beautiful landscapes and landmarks.

I am thoroughly convinced that part of developing an artistic eye is learning to find beauty in unexpected places. But on the other, Georgia seems to be to be an uncommonly beautiful place with an amazing diversity. Georgia’s landscapes run the gamut from the beaches of coastal Georgia to the Appalachian landscapes of North Georgia. Traveling from one end of the state from the other is an experience ranging from sleepy rural towns to the large metro area of Atlanta. Having grown up in one of those sleepy towns and lived in Atlanta, I have appreciation for both ends of that spectrum. And I believe that fondness shows in the Georgia wall art collection you are currently viewing.

If you have questions about any of the prints on my site or in this collection of Georgia prints, please send me a message.

All of the prints for sale here are available in a range of sizes from small prints perfect for keepsakes or gifts as well as large prints suited as statement pieces of framed wall art, gallery wrapped canvas prints, and more. Prints come ready for framing or in ready to hang formats.

  • Forsyth Park - Savannanh Fountain Art Print by Georgia artist Mark Tisdale

    Forsyth Park – Savannah Fountain

    $24.00

It’s funny how a piece of art can find its own path as this Forsyth Park artwork did. When I first envisioned this rainy artwork, I thought there would be a small figure or two nearer the famous Victorian fountain. As I worked on it, I decided the distant fountain on its own was a…

Tybee Island Pier And Pavilion – Landscape Print

I spent my last afternoon in the Savannah area enjoying the beach on Tybee Island. Despite staying in Savannah, it felt like I spent most of my time haunting the seaside and even if it wasn’t my plan, it was a great use of my time. And I certainly can’t think of a better end…

There’s no question that when I see red dirt roads like the one in this Georgia landscape print, I think of home. And in the case of this artwork, this is in fact a beautiful sunset from my own home county in rural Georgia. I was raised in the tiny town of Montezuma which believe…

  • Art Print Of Suntrust Plaza - Landmark Atlanta Skyscraper

Atlanta Skyscraper Art – Suntrust Plaza

    $24.00

During my years living in the area, one of my favorite Atlanta skyscrapers was Suntrust Plaza. This impressive landmark building is part of Peachtree Center. Completed in 1992, it’s the second tallest Atlanta skyscraper behind the Bank of America building in nearby Midtown. There’s just something about the blocky but sleek style of this Atlanta…

  • University of Georgia Prints - The Arch by Mark Tisdale

University Of Georgia Prints – The Arch

    $24.00

I’ve mentioned before that I keep a list of subjects people ask about and University of Georgia prints have been on that list for awhile now. But these things come as time allows and inspiration hits. But the motivation was high because I had people actually coming to my website and searching for University of…

  • Fall landscape at the Historic Roswell Mill - Georgia Print by Mark Tisdale

Fall Landscape At Historic Roswell Mill – Georgia Art

    $24.00

During most of my years in the Atlanta area, I lived near Roswell and the old walking trails around the historic Roswell Mill were among my favorite haunts. • Rustic Barn - Georgia Countryside Landscape Print by local artist Mark Tisdale

Rustic Barn Art Print – Georgia Countryside

    $24.00

There’s just something quaint and charming about an old rustic barn and a country road. It’s the sort of scenic landscape that has spoken to us for generations. Even if the olden days weren’t as uncomplicated as they seem, when you see an old rustic barn in the midst of farm country it feels like…

  • The Flint River in a fog - Georgia Landscape Print by Mark Tisdale

Flint River Fog – Georgia Landscape Art Print

    $24.00

There’s something about the cool quiet of morning standing by a body of water like the Flint River. It has always been an experience that I find recharges the mental batteries in a very zen way. Have you had that same experience of losing yourself and your worries in a moment like the one in…

  • Small Town Streets art print - Montezuma Georgia Art by Mark Tisdale

Small Town Streets – Montezuma Georgia

    $24.00

Since these small town streets are in my own home town, I may be a bit biased, but for me this is classic America. When I think of small towns, streets like this lined with old shops and period architecture are what come to mind. And Cherry Street in downtown Montezuma is a listed US…

  • Nu-Way Weiners Sign - Macon Georgia Landmark Print by Mark Tisdale

Nu-Way Weiners – Macon Georgia Landmark Art

    $24.00

There’s no question that Nu-Way Weiners on Cotton Avenue in downtown Macon, Georgia is a local landmark. The fact is it probably should be considered something of a national one. It was founded in 1916, the same years as Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs. And Nathan’s is the only Hot Dog stand still operating that’s older…

  • Landscape Art Print of Golden Orange Sunset Over Tybee Island Beach by Mark Tisdale

Beautiful Day – Tybee Island Sunset Art Print

    $24.00

My first visit to the Georgia coast, I had expected to spend most of my short time there in historic Savannah, but this picture of a Tybee Island Sunset is far more indicative of my first visit to the area. I’m sure anyone who has spent on Tybee Island understands how I became anchored on…

  • The High Museum - Atlanta Landmark Art Prints by Mark Tisdale

The High Museum – Atlanta Landmark Art

    $24.00

Amongst my fond memories of Georgia’s largest city is Atlanta’s High Museum. I first visited this museum on a field trip in high school. It’s definitely a must-see building, both for the incredible collection housed there as well as the stunning modern architecture. Atlanta is lucky to have a world class museum, and that is…

  • Classic Streetcar - Savannah Georgia Trolley Print by Mark Tisdale

Classic Streetcar Art – Savannah Georgia

    $24.00

I can’t put my finger on why, but I love the sight of a classic streetcar rolling down the street. Bonus points if the street in question happens to be paved in cobblestones. And to top it off, the streetcar that runs down Riverstreet in Savannah is in the late Art Deco style of Streamline…

  • Fishing Boat Art - Gold and Blue Sunrise Print by Mark Tisdale

Fishing Boat Art – Dawn On The Water

    $24.00

There’s something about the solitude of dawn in this fishing boat art that speaks to me. Even though I have never been an avid fisherman, I often find myself beside the water at dawn to capture the sunrise. That wasn’t the case before I became interested in art and specifically photography. And I quickly noticed…

  • Hay House - Macon Georgia Art Print by local artist Mark Tisdale

Hay House – Historic Macon Georgia Art

    $24.00

Hay House is sometimes called the Palace of The South, and certainly it is palatial in design, wouldn’t you agree? This gorgeous piece of historic Macon, Georgia, was built by William Butler Johnston for his wife Anne. The couple honeymooned in Europe from 1855 to 1859, and it should be evident that part of that…

  • Rust Red Tractor - Rural Georgia Print by local artist Mark Tisdale

Rust Red Tractor – Rural Georgia Landscape Art

    $24.00

This rust red tractor in a golden landscape has long been one of my personal favorite prints. There’s something about it that really captures the local flavor of rural Georgia in the autumn. Those wispy cloud streaked skies are the epitome of our fall skies and the golden grasses are the spectacular hue that portends…

  • Old South Art - Plantation Style Home Print by Georgia artist Mark Tisdale

Old South Art – Plantation Style House Print

    $24.00

Perhaps I am not impartial since I grew up in Montezuma, but this neoclassical plantation style gem is the epitome of the old south to me. I half expect a southern belle to descend the steps, don’t you?  It’s truly a classic plantation style house that conjures memories of gracious southern living. Don’t you think?…

  • Atlanta Braves Print - This Is Braves Country Sign by Mark Tisdale

Atlanta Braves Print – Braves Country Sign

    $24.00

This Atlanta Braves print was inspired by my late father. He was a fan of the Braves for as long as I can remember. Since he grew up in Alabama before the Braves ever came to Atlanta, I’m not sure exactly how far back he followed the team. But they were already in Georgia by…

The Future Is Today – Classic Atlanta Skyline Print

    $24.00

The old Polaris lounge is simply a fun mid-century piece of modernist design. Pictured here is a night-time view of that classic restaurant atop the Atlanta Hyatt Regency. This trendsetting Atlanta hotel, designed by John Portman, in 1967 was the first to feature an atrium in the middle of the hotel. This interior design is…

  • Majestic Diner - Atlanta Landmark Print by Mark Tisdale

The Majestic Diner – Atlanta Landmark Art

    $24.00

Even if you’ve never eaten at the Majestic Diner in Atlanta, there’s something about Art Deco architecture that’s likely to bring an unconscious smile to your face. And I think that’s particularly true about Streamline Moderne, of which the Majestic Diner is an example. The Majestic Diner has a sign that says it’s been serving…

  • Mary Mac's Tea Room - Atlanta Midtown Landmark Print by Mark Tisdale

Mary Mac’s Tea Room – Genuine Old Atlanta

    $24.00

For decades, Atlanta has been a growing city constantly paving over and building up, so it’s always a pleasure to know that there are some pieces of Atlanta history – of the old Atlanta – that are still there. A perfect example of a surviving landmark is Mary Mac’s Tea Room. This Atlanta tradition opened…

  • North Georgia Mountain Roads in the Fall Print by Mark Tisdale

North Georgia Mountain Roads – Fall Skies Art Print

    $24.00

It’s funny how the places we live change our perspectives. I grew up in rural Georgia, and I’m sure for much of my life, the big city held much allure. And I still like big cities just fine, but when I lived in Atlanta, I often found myself heading away from the city on weekends….

  • Tallulah Gorge Sunrise - North Georgia Fall Color Landscape Print by Mark Tisdale

Tallulah Gorge Sunrise – North Georgia Fall Color Art

    $24.00

Tallulah Gorge in North Georgia is one of those places that if you’ve been there, you’ll never forget it. • Grain Silo - Farm Landscape Art by Mark Tisdale

Grain Silo – Farm Landscape Art

    $24.00

This grain silo was inspired by one I saw on a farm in the countryside of Macon County, Georgia. This farm landscape captures the feeling of the environment in late summer. The trees on the horizon are a darker hue of green and the embankment in the foreground is covered in late summer wildflowers. Golden…

  • Streets of a Small Southern Town - Leary Georgia Print by Mark Tisdale

Streets of a Small Southern Town – Rural Georgia Art

    $24.00

There’s a familiar vibe to the streets of small southern towns for anyone who grew up in one. They feel like unchanging places in the southern landscape. And for the small towns like little Leary, Georgia, that are far from the suburbs of any large city, the slow pace of life does seem undiminished. My…

  • Sweetwater Creek - North Georgia Landscape Print by Mark Tisdale

On The Banks Of Sweetwater Creek – Georgia Landscape Art

    $24.00

During my years living in North Georgia, when the weekend came, I loved to find places to commune with nature. It was also my chance to explore with my camera. And luckily, in a place as big as Atlanta, there seemed to be no end of state and local parks. Each one was a little…

Vintage Railroad Coaling Tower – Macon Georgia Art Print

    $24.00

  • Vintage Motel Sign - Classic Southern Americana - Print by Georgia Artist Mark Tisdale

Vintage Motel Sign – Southern Art Print

    $24.00

This vintage motel sign print represents part of the fabric of fading America. Little roadside motels once dotted the landscape of America’s old highway system. Over the course of the 20th century, the interstate highway system bypassed a lot of these old roads. And frankly our expectations as travelers has changed much as well. A…

  • Vintage Theater Marquee - Perry Georgia Print by Mark Tisdale

Rustic Vintage Theater Marquee – Perry Georgia Art

    $24.00

One of my favorite architectural styles is without a doubt art deco as seen in this vintage theater marquee print. Of course if you look through my print collections, you’ll see I also have a great fondness for capturing examples of vanishing Americana. The combination of the two in this old theater print from nearby…
